IGNOU BCOMG CBCS Online Admission 2023-24?
The distance university offers BCOM(G) CBCS online admission from July 2021 session onwards. For the students who have take admission in July 2023 cycle and will take in January 2024, the programme code is changed from BCOM to BCOMG. Ignou BCOM syllabus has been changed as well.
After completing the Bachelor’s Degree (BCOMG), there is also an further options to go for an M.Com at IGNOU or Master’s Degree Programme at any other University/Institute. The minimum duration of BCOMG discipline is of 3 years. However, the maximum duration is of 6 years.
The top distance university has launched Online Admission facility of BCOMG discipline for January and July session. The main objective of the programme is to inculcate knowledge, skills and attitude amongst the learners to meet the challenges of various dimensions of business and commerce
- Programme Name : Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMG)
- Medium of Instruction : English and Hindi
- Duration : Minimum 3 years and Maximum 6 years; offered in both January and July cycle of admission.
- Age Bar: No Age limit
- Fee Details : Rs. 8,100/- for full programme to be paid year wise @Rs. 2,700/- per year. Fee to be paid in 1st year, including Registration Fee of Rs.200/-is Rs.2,900/-.
- Eligibility Details : 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU
IGNOU BCOMG Hall Ticket : The Hall tickets for BComG (Bachelor of Commerce) will be uploaded on official website for appearing in the term end exams 10 days before the date of TEE Exam. In case any candidate do not receive their hall ticket / admit card of BCOM (G) CBCS discipline by post, he or she can download it from the website to appear in the upcoming examination.

IGNOU BCOMG TEE Result : After conducting Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMG) exam, the university takes almost 45 days to declare the BCOMG result for the current year. Sometimes, takes more time to declare result.

IGNOU BCOMG Study Material :
After taking online admission at distance university, students will receive Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMG) study material at their mentioned address via Registered post/ Speed Post/ Courier etc by the university. If any case, students didn’t receive their Study material, he can contact to their nearest regional or study centre. The study material for BCOMG discipline is available in PDF form at free of cost.
IGNOU BCOMG Course Code and Names
The University follows the credit system for offering all its programmes. One credit is equal to 30 hours of learners study time. To earn Bachelor’s Degree, a learner has to earn 132 credits in minimum six semesters (three years) with 22 credits per semester.
For earning 132 credits, a student has to study all the courses from the following categories of courses: a) Core Courses (CC) b) Discipline Specific Electives (DSE) c) Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) d) Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) e) Generic Electives (GE) .
In each semester, the students have to study 4 courses in all from different categories of courses. While the courses unde CC, DSE and GE Categories are of 6 credits each, the courses under AEC and SEC are of 4 credits each.
The total of 22 credits has to be selected student for study in one semester.
