The open learning university offers online admission to various distance education learning bachelor degree programme. Out of which, one name is Bachelor’s Degree Programmes – BDP during the January and July cycle of admissions. The university offers Bachelor’s Degree in the following fields : B.A – Bachelor of Arts, B.Com – Bachelor of Commerce, B.Sc – Bachelor’s Degree in Science. After completing the bdp degree at distance university, there is also an further options to go for an higher degree at Ignou or Master’s Degree Programme at any other University/Institute.
The minimum duration of bdp discipline is of 3 years. However, the maximum duration is of 6 years. The top distance university has launched Online Admission facility of Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (BDP) discipline for January and July session. Students can fill an application form and their fees online for concerned discipline by going through university www.ignou.ac.in. Below are details of BDP (B.A / B.Sc / B.Com) programme :

- Duration : The minimum duration is of 3 years and the maximum period allowed to complete bdp bachelor is of 6 years. Students can take admission in both January and July admission cycle

- Fee Details : For B.A and B.Com, all candidate taking admission to this course need to pay Rs. 6,000/ for full programme which is to be paid @Rs. 2,000/- per year. For B.Sc, Rs. 10,500/- for full programme which is to be paid year wise @ Rs 3,500/- per year
- Eligibility Details : To be eligible for B.A and B.Com admission, must have 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU. For B.Sc admission, should have 10+2 with science subjects or its equivalent qualification.
IGNOU BDP Hall Ticket : The Hall tickets for BDP (Bachelor’s Degree Programmes) will be uploaded on IGNOU website for appearing in the term end exams 10 days before the date of TEE Exam. In case any candidate do not receive their hall ticket / admit card of BDP discipline by post, he or she can download it from the website to appear in the upcoming examination.
IGNOU BDP Solved Assignments : All students need to submit the BDP Solved Assignments for each theory course. The assignment latest question papers of BDP (B.A / B.Sc / B.Com) for 2017-18 can be downloaded from the official website. The solved assignments of BDP (ba / bsc / bcom) consists 30% of total marks for any particular course.
IGNOU BDP Course & Syllabus Details : The distance university follows the credit system. One credit is equal to 30 hours of learners study time. To earn Bachelor’s Degree (BA / BCOM / BSC), a learner has to earn 96 credits in minimum 3 years with 32 credits per year. For earning 96 credits, a student has to opt for courses from three categories : (1) Foundation Course (2) Elective Courses and (3) Application-Oriented Courses.
